Born in Yogyakarta, Herman Hartana begin his own bee farm in 1982 and developed honey industries. Serangga Emas Apiaries’s heritage includes 2 generations of beekeeping in Indonesia. Supported by the family’s 35 years of knowledge of apiculture, Melita Honey and Glory Honey remain an innovative company committed to the highest standarts and to always producing the purest quality Indonesia honey. As Indonesia’s leading honey supplier, we source from our own hives and prepare all of our products here on the farm. Bee Pollen
is the male seeds of the flowers which have been gathered by the honey bees, it usually comes in granule from and appears in a yellowish to orange color depending on the types of the flowers visited by the bees.
Royal Jelly
is a milky white substance which is produced from the hypopharyngeal gland in the head of worker bees, and is fed to the larvae and the queen bee.
Propolis
is a black resinous substance which the bees collected from the trees and bring back to the hive.
Beeswax
is produced by the worker bees from glands on their back legs. The bees use the wax to build the honeycomb.
